At the heart of an Opteum presentation are the Opteum Projector and the Opteum builder.
The Opteum Builder allows you to create or amend your presentation before publishing a presentation pack to your computer, network or CD Rom.
The presentation pack folder contains all the media to run your presentation, including the Opteum Projector which when double clicked will launch your Opteum presentation.
Opteum uses a slide show metaphor, very similar to PowerPoint. You
can configure an Opteum projector to play back any number of slides
with a variety of content including:
You create a presentation design template or background, specify page
transitions and playback behaviour, as well as formatting style sheets
for things like text colour size and font.
Opteum builder allows you to configure, control and publish your
Opteum
presentations. Within the Opteum builder you can:
- Load new page templates and apply them to your project
- Create new slides
- Delete and hide slides within the presentation
- Reorder slides in the presentation
- Load or amend rich media (animation, video) slides
- Modify formatting and content of text slides
- Change the playback mode of the presentation (rolling presentation, key based navigation, graphical user interface)
Text slides can be created within Opteum Builder. All other
slide content can be easily created either using our bespoke design
services, or your own in-house design facilities. Image slides, diagrams
and static content can be loaded into Opteum using the popular JPG
image format. Animated and interactive slides are created in the popular
Macromedia® Flash; format (swf), this format can also be used to connect
to databases,
information stored on the internet, news feeds etc. Video slides, use
Macromedia®’s popular flv video format, for
compact, high quality video and sound, we offer Flash; video compression
services as part of our bespoke design services.
The look and feel of your presentation is very much in your control.
Design templates can be simple image files containing branding and
page design, they can be animated flash; files, or contain navigation
bars to control the presentation.
If required we can add access control facilities to
your version of Opteum builder that allow you to control what
can be changed within your presentations. You can specify a set of
colours, fonts and text
sizes for text slides for example, specify that certain key slides
always appear in a presentation, or ensure that the design template
you have chosen is never changed.
